A Christian way of training children. They are considered to be able to understand the Kingdom of God, better than adults. This means they have a quality demanding of respect, and should be treated as capable of understanding more than is generally supposed. Not patronised, explained to, not discounted, paid attention to, not abused, nurtured, not kept as 'children', educated, not forced into adulthood, encouraged to grow into God-fearers, not kept simple, made wise.
